'Transmission in Vain'

Up here we are the only three people in space today but we carry with us the spirit of so many thousands that have built this program to what it is, and by that I mean both the Russian and the American program. Over the last forty years we've made so much more progress than one could have imagined and it'll be exciting to see where we are even 40 years from now. It would not be a big surprise if we were walking around on other planets. Both the Russians, Americans and of course with all our other partners as well is that, not only is it an exciting for them to think about what has been but it's also exciting to think about what will be, and for that we thank all of you for working so hard all around the Earth to make that happen. Of course we wouldn't be here without your help, which is important, and we thank you for it.
