The Star Shrink Shooters is the new techno-trance project of well known DJ and producer HOLEG aka SPIES with SISTER B.
For more than 10 years, Holeg of Spies has been performing on the international electronic scene. Based in France, he is well known for his unclassifiable, as destabilizing as possible hybrid style. First as a Dj and then, as a composer, Holeg has basically worked in Europe with releases on Atomic, Aurinko, Transient, Etnicanet, Wirikuta and Citizen (Vitalic), Polygram to name a few. Then, since 1996, he has been expanding his work to Japan thanks to Juno Reactor. More recently, Holeg has concentrated his work for films notably for The Hitcher produced by Michael Bay (the Island, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor), for Japanese director Miike Takashi and fashion designers such as Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto...
With "Tanz-Demokratur" Holeg and Sister B. break even more boundaries merging techno-trance with many more musical influences. This album features amazing collaborations with well known producers such as Tim Schuldt (Aurinko), Kris Kylven (Transient, Atomic Reactor, Dragonfly, Flying Rhino) and much more.
More than an album, Tanz-Demokratur is also a complete live-performance merging music and videos.
