Patrick Chen aka PTX comes from a rock and alternative music background.
Ever since listening to psychedelic trance, Patrick has been a man on a mission. His main goal was to create the sounds that no one had heard before, to push his music as far as it will go, to make each track fresher and more exciting than the previous. He achieved this by studying for a degree of sound engineering and refining his sound as he progressed professionally.
PTX, now a veteran of the scene has established himself with his first album, 'Participate in the Experiment' and on many compilation releases on notable labels such as Noya, Compact, BNE, Neurobiotic, Phonokol, Sirius and Alchemy among many others. Through the years, PTX has collaborated with quality artists such as Black and White, PsySex, Domestic, Intelabeam, E-Jekt, Panick and more to produce creative dance floor bombs. PTX's new album features 10 tracks, including 2 remixes for Etnica and Black and White and 3 collaborations with Xerox and Illumination, Onyx and Rocky. The style of the album is best described as full-on trance - loaded and fully equipped for the global dance floors, armed with a powerful rhythm section and loaded with psychedelic leads!
