Yopo Was A Brief Project In The Summer Of 96. After Meetin Ben Downing By Pure Chance One Evening At The house From Label Owner Matt boom (I Was Workin In The Record Shop At The Time) Formeley Known As Smiley society.And Djing In And Around Groningen Ben Was here to stay for A while in groningen And Had his studio with him.In Total me & ben made 4 tracks 2 were chosen for release The last track we made was tribute to tim leary and shortly after that ben returned to england yopo was no more in 1997 i met a sweedish dj who played on parties in goa and it was a surprise to hear that the tracks from us ere being played all over the world and were to my surprise popular > Those Were The Days:) Steve
